The Kuwaiti Division One is a second-tier professional Kuwaiti football league. Winners of the league are promoted to the Kuwait Premier League. Kuwaiti Division One was introduced for the 2006–07 season, when the bottom 6 clubs in the Premier League were relegated to Division One.
On 25 April 2016 it was stated that the Division One league would return for 2017–18 due to Kuwait Football Association being banned by FIFA therefore not allowing the tournament to return until reinstatement by FIFA.
Turneul de fotbal Kuwait Division 1 este o ligă profesionistă de fotbal din Kuwait. Este a doua divizie ca importanță din țară, după Kuwait Premier League. Liga a fost fondată în 1961 și este alcătuită din 10 echipe. Echipele concurează într-un format de tur-retur, cu fiecare echipă jucând de două ori împotriva celorlalte echipe din ligă. Cele mai bune patru echipe la finalul sezonului promovează în Kuwait Premier League, în timp ce ultimele două echipe retrogradează în Kuwait Division 2.
