Wikipedia - Liga 3 (Indonesia)

Liga 3 (English: League Three) is the lowest tier in the Indonesian football league system organized by the PSSI. Formed as Liga Nusantara in 2014, this league occupies the third tier and consists of 2 rounds: provincial qualification—held in every province in Indonesia, and a national round, competed for by provincial qualifiers (the number varies between provinces). The PSSI typically delegated the task of organizing the provincial qualifiers to its members, the provincial football associations, while PSSI organized the national round.

History

The competition was established after Liga Indonesia Second Division and Liga Indonesia Third Division merged in 2014. Starting in 2015, the Liga Indonesia First Division was also merged with Liga Nusantara making it the third-tier level in Indonesian football system. Persatu Tuban won the competition's first season.

In 2017, Liga Nusantara was renamed to Liga 3, along with Indonesian Super League and Indonesian Premier Division which were renamed to Liga 1 and Liga 2, respectively.

Liga 3 Indonesia este un campionat de fotbal din Indonezia, a treia divizie ca importanță din sistemul competițional al țării. Este organizată de Asociația Fotbalului din Indonezia (PSSI) și a fost fondată în 2014.

Liga 3 Indonesia este formată din 64 de echipe împărțite în 8 grupe, câte 8 echipe în fiecare grupă. Echipele se înfruntă în meciuri tur-retur, iar primele două clasate din fiecare grupă avansează în faza eliminatorie.

Faza eliminatorie constă în șaisprezecimi de finală, sferturi de finală, semifinale și finală. Câștigătoarea finalei Ligii 3 Indonesia este promovată în Liga 2 Indonesia, a doua divizie ca importanță din sistemul competițional indonezian.

Liga 3 Indonesia oferă o oportunitate echipelor din diviziile inferioare și jucătorilor tineri să se dezvolte și să ajungă la un nivel mai înalt. Este o competiție importantă în sistemul fotbalistic indonezian, deoarece oferă o cale spre promovare și oferă șanse tinerelor talente să își demonstreze abilitățile.
