Wikipedia - Cymru South

The Cymru South is a regional football league in Wales, covering the southern half of the country. It has clubs with semi-professional status and together with the Cymru North, it forms the second tier of the Welsh football league system.

The first year of its operation was in 2019–20 with the Football Association of Wales owning and administering the tier 2 leagues for the first time. These changes followed on from a review of the Welsh Football Pyramid. Prior to 2019, the equivalent league was the Welsh Football League Division One, covering South Wales.

Turneul de fotbal al Marii Britanii „Tara Galilor - Campionat - Sud” este una dintre cele mai importante competiții de fotbal din Țara Galilor. Fondată în 1992, este cea mai mare divizie din sistemul fotbalistic galez și constă din 12 cluburi. Fiecare club joacă împotriva celorlalte cluburi de două ori, o dată pe teren propriu și o dată în deplasare, pe parcursul unui sezon care se desfășoară de la august până în mai. Cele două echipe de top se califică pentru UEFA Champions League, în timp ce echipele clasate pe locurile 3 și 4 se califică pentru UEFA Europa Conference League. Echipa clasată pe ultimul loc retrogradează în Cymru North sau Cymru South, în funcție de locația geografică.
