Cashmere Technical

Cashmere Technical is an association football club based in Christchurch, New Zealand. It was formed in early 2012 from the merger of two of the city's premier teams, Cashmere Wanderers and Woolston Technical. The two clubs had agreed to work together in early 2011, and the 2011 Christchurch earthquake which devastated their home city and resulted in the loss of many playing facilities hastened their merger into a combined side.

Cashmere Technical play in the Mainland Premier League, and have won the Chatham Cup twice as Cashmere but also once as Christchurch Technical Old Boys.

Cashmere Technical este un club de fotbal semiprofesionist din orașul Christchurch, Noua Zeelandă. Clubul, fondat în 1962, concurează în prezent în Campionatul Național, prima ligă de fotbal din Noua Zeelandă.

Stadionul de casă al echipei este ASB Football Park, care are o capacitate de 10.000 de spectatori. Cashmere Technical a câștigat de două ori Campionatul Național, în 1996 și 2000, și a câștigat Cupa Chatham, cea mai importantă competiție de cupă din Noua Zeelandă, de trei ori, în 1979, 1987 și 1995.

Culorile tradiționale ale echipei sunt roșu și albastru, iar porecla sa este „The Tedders”. Cashmere Technical este unul dintre cele mai de succes cluburi de fotbal din Noua Zeelandă și este cunoscut pentru stilul său de joc atacant și pentru baza sa puternică de fani.
