Bayrampaşa SK is a Turkish professional football club located in the Bayrampaşa district of Istanbul. They currently play in the TFF Third League, the fourth tier of Turkish football.
History
In 1942 the club was founded as Sağmalcılar Youth Sports Club, in 1959 the name was changed to Bayrampaşa Youth Sports Club. The club has spent the majority of its history in the third division, between 1984 and 1994, before being relegated to the amateur divisions. In 2009, after 16 years, they returned to the fourth tier of Turkish football. Soon after, in May 2012 they beat Hacettepe S.K. by a score of 2–1, thereby being promoted back into the TFF Second League (after being out for 53 years). In the 2012–2013 season, right after promotion, they reached the play-offs, but were eventually knocked out.
Bayrampaşa a fost fondat în 2015 ca urmare a fuziunii a două cluburi din districtul Bayrampaşa din Istanbul, Yeşil Bayrampaşa și Beylikdüzü Belediyespor. Clubul și-a început traseul în Amatör Lig, a patra divizie a fotbalului turc, și a promovat rapid în TFF Üçüncü Lig, a treia divizie, în sezonul 2016-17. Bayrampaşa a continuat să impresioneze în sezonul următor, câștigând grupa sa și promovând în TFF İkinci Lig.
În sezonul 2018-19, Bayrampaşa a terminat pe locul 11 în TFF Îkinci Lig. Cea mai bună clasare a clubului a fost locul 8 în sezonul 2019-20.
Stadionul de origine al Bayrampaşa este Stadionul Bayrampaşa, care are o capacitate de 2.800 de locuri. Culorile oficiale ale clubului sunt verde și albastru.
Bayrampaşa este cunoscut pentru stilul său ofensiv de joc și pentru abilitatea sa de a marca goluri. Clubul are o serie de jucători talentați, inclusiv atacantul Yusuf Demir și mijlocașul Semih Üstün.
